Andrea Rossi had mentioned several times that the robotized production line for the one million units of low cost Andrea Rossi E-Cats is underway. In fact, there was a hint that this is being built in the United States; although there was no confirmation on the exact location of the production facility. When Andrea Rossi first said that he will mass produce one million low cost E-Cats for domestic use, it sounded too ambitious and impossible, especially because until now, we have not seen any concrete proof of this technology.
However, as the year 2012 continues to move forward one day at a time, Andrea Rossi also continue to show proof of his steadfastness in delivering his promise to manufacture and market one million Andrea Rossi E-Cats. Recently in the Journal of Nuclear Physics, a reader posted a comment wondering why Andrea Rossi is starting to build the robotized production line before he gets the safety certification from the Underwriters Labs.
Andrea Rossi’s reply shows another hint of his seriousness to start the production. As a matter fact, his reply shows the sense of urgency to start the production. He said:
“Good question. Yes, I am taking risks. But a robotized line is also reprogrammable for the particulars. We expect some modifications. But as you correctly wrote, if we wait the end of the certification process to start the preparation of the factory, we risk the delay. As you correctly said, I am taking risks, but these are calculated risks. A delay would cost more than a modification.”
The advantages of having a robotized production line for Andrea Rossi E-Cat are clear. First, it ensures precision and consistency in the calibration of the product. And most importantly, the production set-up can be reprogrammed with minimal cost, which enables Rossi to start preparing the factory even before the UL certification is released.
