It seems like yesterday when Italian inventor Andrea Rossi introduced his new technology to the public. Rossi’s energy catalyzer, e-cat for short, is a Low Energy Nuclear Reactions technology that defies the laws of physics by using nickel and hydrogen, applied with a secret catalyst, in order to generate vast quantities of heat. There is no denying that the e-cat is a groundbreaking device in the 21st century. With the technology’s unlimited potential and advantage, it is expected to make more headlines in the near future. For over a year now, it is safe to say that Rossi has indeed developed a true and working LENR technology that has surmounted the tests he personally conducted. In early days, Rossi plans to work on small e-cat units only. But the e-cat fusor looks very promising and thus Rossi starts working on the large models. The e-cat technology has certainly come a long way ever since it as launched in January 2011. By the time it was formally launched on October 2011, Rossi’s e-cat proved to be very impressive in terms of efficiency and reliability. THE DOMESTIC E-CAT UNIT
Before the year 2011 ended, Rossi made a very interesting revelation. He disclosed his plans to produce one million e-cat units within 2012, this year, for home use. In his previous post on his official blog The Journal of Nuclear Physics, Rossi stated that the domestic e-cat unit can be used for home heating purposes. It is said that the e-cat can replace existing boilers using two units. Rossi explained that the two e-cats will be applied to the heater and will be used as a back up. The good thing about this e-cat is it can operate on demand, using a by pass. It will work at lower energy giving maximum power in demand. The Rossi energy catalyzer works 24 hours daily non-stop operation but it can be regulated on demand. The output can be varied in accordance with the heat required
2013 MARKET RELEASE
The primary purpose of the domestic units is to provide heat and hot water for individual homes. According to Rossi, e-cat unit for regular household use is due for market release in 2013, next year. He did not give further information about the commercialization of his home-based e-cat but he already admitted before that mass production will only begin when the e-cat safety certification is approved. It cannot be denied that many people are eagerly awaiting for the approval of the technology’s safety certification and patent. The impact of this home-based e-cat unit will definitely serve as an economic boom. Domestic e-cat cannot produce electricity for obvious reasons. But with the right turbine or engine, it can be made possible especially with the latest updates regarding Rossi high-temperature e-cat.
THE SIZE OF HOME E-CAT
A regular household will be the first to use the potential of Rossi e-cat. Since it is designed to provide heat for people’s homes, many homeowners are really excited. There has been so much speculation about the size of the home-based e-cat. A very interesting report noted that the home e-cat will be intuitively small and will fit easily in different places. Of course, its market design is yet to be completed depending on the constant updates in the technology. One factor is it is yet to be certified. The e-cat technology does not emit fumes, smoke or vapors and thus it will be one of the most eco-friendly sources of power.

It won’t be released in 2013. Just like it wasn’t released in 2012.
I am a believer. But even Mr. Rossi has acknowledged that the proof will be in the delivery, not the hype of impending delivery. This article and many others has lost sight of Rossi’s own admittions. The grandiose assertions I keep reading are putting the cart in front of the horse. Especially since Rossi continues to give ammunition to critics. Critics have predicted over and over the events that are transpiring. I have watched every thread of info regarding the E-Cat and spinoff tech. Regardless of news, the bottom-line is that there is not one official piece of evidence supporting Mr. Rossi’s claims, and all the promises to the contrary have expired over and over. First, it was late 2010, January 2011, Summer 2011, October 2011, Spring 2012, Summer 2012, and September and October 2012. Now its moved out to 2013 ostensibly because 600c is the new standard. I am a believer, but this needless delay, delay, and delay should be a strong signal for supporters to stay wary. I say needless because the wait until any time in the future is unnecessary. I’m no expert, but one thing seems evident from listening to the experts. It only takes hours to confirm (internals off limits) excess heat (catalyzed through unexotic elements or cream cheese) into and out of a hat box. Come on, 2013… Mr. Rossi, wherever you are, deliver no later than September, in line with your most recent promises.
Certifications will be delayed, due to safety concerns, for years as the US govt including NATO, oil companies with their lobbyists and the military, fight tooth and nail for this technology to be kept classified and top secret.
I’d be willing to lay a bet that individuals will not be allowed to purchase this technology for at least 5 to 10 years while methods of surcharges, taxation, and ‘safety’ limitations are incorporated into law for our ‘protection’.
This technology is just too disruptive of the status quo and too many entrenched millionaires stand to lose too much if this technology can produce useable amounts of energy with ultra low cost materials.
Sorry – this is just too good for the little man to be allowed to escape from the mercantile and taxation system in place. Just consider the taxes you currently pay for oil based products – a new taxation paradigm will be in place before you or I allowed to ‘own’ a dependable heating and electricity producing device based on Nickel Deuterium Nano-based fusion.
It will be released on December 23 2012, thus confirming Maya’s prophecy of the “the end of old era – beginning of the new one”, mistakingly referred to as “the end of the world”.
Whatever it does, it does not “defy” the laws of physics. That sort of talk puts LENR back in the realm of “pathological science”.
Are there no knowledgeable people available to report on this topic?
Bruno, these things take time. The last medical device I worked on, was supposed to be done in 6 months, actually took 3 1/2 years to start production. I have 35 years of R&D development experience and I can understand some of the problems that Rossi has to deal with before he can begin production. He is doing a great job and will deliver his E-Cat in a very short time. Look at all the pictures: the large 1Meg Industrial Reactor and those small Home type E-Cats! jdh
This is incredible news that I am delighted to hear. I have been participating in the research of this amazing technology and I can truly say this is the most significant scientific breakthrough of the 21st century. This device will change the world and make it a better place. I eagerly anticipate the soon to come release!
I for one cannot wait to get a thermoelectric generator going from this device while using it to heat the water heater.
